Dr. Vu
Nguyen received his medical degree from Wayne State
University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, where he
graduated in the top 10% of his class. He completed his
residency training in Internal Medicine and Fellowship
training at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University
School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Nguyen’s
special interests include non-invasive cardiovascular
imaging and preventative cardiology. He is board certified
in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases by the
American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr Nguyen is also
board certified in Nuclear Cardiology. He is a member of
the Travis County Medical Society and the Texas Medical
Association. Dr. Nguyen is bilingual, speaking both English
and Vietnamese fluently. The most common conditions Dr.
Nguyen manages include coronary artery disease, congestive
heart failure, heart arrhythmias, heart valve disease, and
hypertension, with symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of
breath, palpitations, blackouts, and abnormal EKG’s. Dr.
Nguyen has a particular interest in preventative cardiology. |
