Family Medicine


John M. Weed, III, M.D.

Dr. John M. Weed, III received his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and then obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston.  He completed his residency training at John Peter Smith Hospital.  Dr. Weed is board certified in Geriatrics and in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Weed has been in Family medicine in Rockdale sin 1974.  He is a member of  the Texas Medical Association, the Milam County Medical Society, the American Academy of Family Practice, the Texas Academy of Family Practitioners, and the American Geriatric Society.  He and his wife reside in Rockdale and have two children.



Deborah Neitsch, M.D.
Deborah Neitsch, MD, received her Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University before continuing her education at Texas Tech University School of Medicine where she received her Doctor of Medicine.
Dr. Neitsch completed her Family Practice residency at Good Samaritan Family Practice in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Neitsch is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians and the Milam County Medical Society. Dr. Neitsch is very excited to provide medical care to Rockdale and Milam County.
She will be caring for patients of all ages and specializing in preventative care.


Karen Sieber, RNC, FNP

Karen Sieber has been in the healthcare industry for 24 years.  She began her career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and quickly became a Registered Nurse.  Karen has extensive experience in women’s health, labor, delivery, postpartum, and recovery, pediatrics, and chronic illness.  She received her Master of Nursing degree with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.  She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  Karen provides medical care for the entire family, including women’s PAP tests, infant care and lactation consulting, chronic illnesses, elder care, wart and cyst removal, and allergies and respiratory infections.  Karen and her family reside in Rockdale.


Monette Schweitzer, RN, FNP

An honor graduate of Rockdale High School, Monette Schweitzer earned a full-scholarship to Washington State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  She received her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration.  Monette has an extensive background in emergency medicine, labor, delivery, postpartum, and recovery, and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation and psychiatry.  As a Family Nurse Practitioner, her focus is on wellness and disease prevention, as well as the management of acute and chronic illnesses.  Monette resides in Rockdale with her husband and three children.



Christy Easley, RN, CPNP

Christy S. Easley, RN, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and immediately began working with children at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond, LA.  She later transitioned to primary care and began working at North Oaks Pediatric Clinic, in Hammond, LA, as a Kidmed nurse doing well child screenings.  Christy worked there for several years before deciding to return to her home state of Texas.  She is currently seeking a degree as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the University of South Alabama and University Pediatric Association in College Station.
